The importance of supporting government programs has been emphasized by the NRM Deputy Secretary General, Rt Hon Namayanja Rose Nsereko. She has also emphasized that each initiative is carefully crafted to address a long-term challenge for the betterment of the country.

“The government always faces a long-term challenge when introducing a new program. Accept these initiatives, as they are designed with the welfare of our country in mind. Monitor these initiatives to ensure that they fulfill their stated goal of helping the general public,” the speaker stated.

At a thanksgiving ceremony held by the Church of Kifamba on Sunday, Namayanja made the call while addressing the faithful in honor of its retired sons of the soil, Maj Gen Elly Kayanja, Dr. Kiwanuka Kimbuggwa, Mr. Ntalazi Francis, Mr. Kasozi Sulaiman, and Mr. Iga Masajja Godfrey.

Speaking about how parents can influence the course of the future, she emphasized the importance of being actively involved in their children’s upbringing. Namayanja offered personal insights, crediting her mother’s commitment for much of the success of her upbringing. She pleaded with moms to teach their kids to revere God and to never undervalue their influence.

Maj Gen Elly Kayanja’s contribution to the nation’s security was acknowledged by Namayanja, who also expressed gratitude to the NRM government for bringing about the peace and security that permit people to freely travel and practice their religion.

During his speech, Maj Gen Elly Kayanja praised the important contributions the NRM government has made to the Kifamba community. He emphasized the iron sheets that President Museveni donated to the church, the 1.5 billion Ugandan shilling building of a new health center, the raising of educational standards with the establishment of Kifamba Comprehensive SS School, and the installation of electricity in the region.

Maj Gen Elly Kayanja also exhorted parents, stressing their vital role in creating a better nation, to raise their kids to become successful, responsible citizens.

After the service, Mrs. Namayanja went to the government-built Kifamba Comprehensive SS School and Kifamba Health Centre III.

She also made a polite visit to the late Mathias Kasamba, the former Director of Mobilization. In remembrance of Kasamba’s outstanding contributions to his NRM Party and Uganda overall, Namayanja placed a wreath on his grave.
