Residents Of Gombe Are Ecstatic About PDM

Nalumansi from Jagala ward in Gombe became ecstatic and danced her waist off in front of the Resident District Commissioner [RDC] of Nansana municipality Ali Nsubuga.

The Parish Development (PDM) plan has piqued the interest of residents of Gombe town council in Wakiso district.

“Thank you very much, President Museveni, for the PDM money because it’s going to help many of us improve our businesses and fight poverty in our homes,” Juliet Nalumansi, one of the beneficiaries, said.

After receiving shillings one million on her cell phone, Nalumansi from Jagala ward in Gombe became ecstatic and danced her waist off in front of the Resident District Commissioner [RDC] of Nansana municipality Ali Nsubuga.

She stated that the funds will be used to grow her chicken farm and educate her children.

Christine Sseremba, also from Jagala ward, said the money will enable her improve her farm to hybrid pigs, which she has been rearing.

Robbinah Namyalo stated that she has been battling to keep her piggery running, but she plans to expand it soon.

President Museveni recently addressed the citizens of Gombe town council, bringing Nsubuga PDM particularly to battle poverty in people’s homes.

According to Nsubuga, the shillings 1.91 billion PDM money paid by the government to the Gombe town council benefited 1,214 families.
