KARAMOJA: On December 3rd, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will begin his visit of the Karamoja Sub Region, which will conclude on December 5th, 2024.
The Department of Press, Public Relations, and Communications stated in a press statement dated today, December 27, 2024, that the President will visit Karamoja Sub Region to evaluate the effectiveness of the Parish Development Model initiatives.
According to the release, the president will meet and have conversations with a range of stakeholders, including a variety of local leaders and technical professionals, in addition to seeing some of the Parish Development Model’s beneficiaries.
Before heading back to Kampala for more significant national engagements, the president will also speak at a large-scale popular demonstration in Kotido District.
During previous comparable visits to the Teso and Bukedi Sub Regions, President Museveni expressed his satisfaction with the way the Parish Development Model initiative was being implemented.
