President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni met with a delegation of scientists from Kiira Motors Corporation at State House Entebbe yesterday to discuss the Kayoola bus project’s progress and potential regional market expansion.
The group, led by Hon. Dr. Monica Musenero, Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, briefed President Museveni on the Kayoola buses’ advances.
The discussions focused on collaborative ways to improve the buses’ positioning in the regional market.
During the meeting, Kiira Motors Corporation’s CEO, Mr. Paul Isaac Musasizi, informed President Museveni that the buses had been successfully tested in the market and received excellent comments from clients on their efficiency.
He stated that the buses had combined traveled over 600,000 kilometers on routes throughout Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania without incident, demonstrating the corporation’s commitment to offering high-quality products to the market.
President Museveni expressed his unwavering support for Kiira Motors Corporation.
The trip also comprised Hon. John Mulimba, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Regional Affairs, and Professor Sandy Stevens Tickodri Togboa, a prominent contributor to Kiira Motors Corporation.
