On a belated International Youth Day, the people of Kayunga District received an empowerment package valued at millions of dollars from Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC) Manager, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo.

The Nakyessa Playground in Kayonza Sub-County served as the venue for the festivities, which drew thousands of attendees from throughout Kayunga District.

Hajjat Namyalo, speaking on behalf of the President, spent hours listening to the problems raised by the community while interacting with the energized crowd. Among the issues raised was the area’s inadequate road system.

Along with other concerns, residents voiced concerns about their inability to access clean water, the death of healthcare facilities and Medicare, the improper handling of Emyooga and PDM funds, and their open reporting to Namyalo of the fact that the funds had not reached the intended recipients.

Namyalo pledged to follow up via her office, stating that its Regional Coordinators are required to do so and submit a report to her for additional direction.

The ONC Boss, who has gained national attention for promoting wealth and job creation for all Ugandans, was praised for her open-mindedness and willingness to put the needs of the people before her own.

She not only gave an inspiring speech to the young people during her visit, but she also demonstrated her words with deeds. She kindly contributed a variety of necessary goods to support community income-generating initiatives. Among other important resources, the donations included bricklaying equipment, hair dryers, popcorn makers, sewing machines, and haircutting tools.

Apart from providing concrete assistance, Namyalo committed to advocating for the community’s cause by speaking with President Museveni directly. She pledged to address the residents’ immediate concerns, and the district’s roads are the first and foremost issue she would bring before the President.

Residents of Kayunga District showed their gratitude for ONC Boss’s tireless efforts to empower youth and advance the welfare of their community, pouring their hearts into the event.

It is anticipated that the significant act will have a profound effect on the district, encouraging a sense of unity and empowerment among the young people and representing a positive step forward in the quest of community prosperity.
