President Yoweri Museveni launched the Zonal Industrial Hub in an effort to upskill young people and improve lives in the Karamoja sub-region.

Beneficiaries of the program, including the former cattle rustlers, have received training in a variety of trades, such as welding, carpentry, tailoring, and hairstyling.

With the help of this President’s initiative, young people from Karamoja can return to productive civilian lives and work toward the aim of socioeconomic development.
