Thousands of Ugandans gathered at Mayor’s Gardens to join the Office of the National Chairman Manager Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye in declaring their support for government’s programes.
Hajjat Namyalo, the Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, arrived with her subordinates and other ONC coordinators from across the country as she waved to thousands of supporters present, along with other political leaders from Mityana.
In her remarks, the ONC leader reminded Mityana residents that H.E Museveni has sent them greetings and is monitoring the situation. She thanked them for showing up in such large numbers and for their trust in HE Museveni to continue taking Uganda to greater heights.
Hajjat Namyalo went on to say that she had come this time to listen to people’s problems and have them addressed by her office, and she urged them to take advantage of government programs such as Emyooga and the Parish Development Model to increase their household incomes and lift themselves out of poverty.
“As much as there are PDM and Emyooga programs, several people are left out, and this program comes in to bridge that gap.” – stated Hadijah Namyalo after several peasants expressed their dissatisfaction with the government’s Emyooga and PDM inclusion programs.
As a result, Hajjat Namyalo and her team took the initiative to record people’s problems and contact information, which she vowed to solve personally and deal with authorities who damage government projects through corruption.
She also assured National Resistance Movement (NRM) followers and all Mityana residents that President Museveni and the entire administration are committed to improve people’s lives through various development programs.
She encouraged them not to give up on exploring every possible source of income and reassuring them that armed with “Ekibaalo” is President Museveni’s tried and true method of making Ugandans wealthy. Hajjat Hadijah urged the people of Mityana to reject opportunistic politicians and actively listen to Jajja – President Museveni’s advice on how to solve the current problem of merging or having no family income in the Buganda Subregion.
She supported the selected beneficiaries with sewing machines, hair dryers, hair cut machines, and other salon accessories to start up income-generating ventures while they wait for her return to empower them with poultry full cycle and hybrid goats farming projects, as she has done elsewhere.
