Journalists in Buliisa districts affiliated with the Buliisa Constituency Journalists Emyooga SACCO have been requested to serve as role models for the district’s Emyooga program.

Dison Kasisaki, the Buliisa District Commercial Officer, made the plea while presenting them with sh30 million in Emyooga cash at their general meeting on Sunday.

Kasisaki admonished the journalists against squandering the monies, but urged them to use them wisely for their own development.

He praised the executive journalist SACCO members for their efforts to ensure that they also benefit.

Ikiriza Zephania, chairperson of Buliisa District Journalists Emyooga Sacco, challenged comrades to follow proper policies if they want to gain from the program.

Buliisa Constituency Journalists Emyooga Sacco was the only one of 18 SACCOs in the district that had yet to benefit from the program.
